Why I started

When I went looking for help with Mack, the trainers I worked with weren't giving me the information I needed to succeed with him. So I enrolled in a Dog Training and Behaviour Certificate to learn it properly myself. BDT Training is the help I was looking for back then.

Why I train owners

Your dog spends maybe an hour a week with a trainer. The other 167 hours are with you. If the only person who can get a result is the trainer, the result doesn't last.

I hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, the national qualification for teaching adults, and I'm currently completing my Dog Training and Behaviour Certificate. So I approach each session as a lesson for you: clear goals, practice you can actually fit into your week, and feedback that shows you what's working.

I've trained two German Shepherds: Maxy, and now Mack, who tests most of the gear on this site.

How it works

Assessment. We meet, I watch you and your dog together, and we agree on what you want to change.
Your development plan. A written plan with your goals broken into steps you can practise between sessions.
Coaching sessions. Hands-on sessions where you do the handling and I coach you through it.
Progress tracking. We track progress against your plan, so you can see how far you've come and what to work on next.

Sessions and pricing

Single session: one 1-hour 1:1 consultation, $120
Three-session package: three 1-hour 1:1 consultations, $320. That's $360 if booked separately, so you save $40.

All prices are in AUD and include GST.

Where I train

Greystanes and suburbs across Western Sydney, including Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Toongabbie, Girraween, Pemulwuy, Merrylands, Guildford, Smithfield, Prospect, Seven Hills, Blacktown, Minchinbury, St Marys, Erskine Park and St Clair. Sessions are held at your home or a local park.
